About the Role
We’re looking for an Account Executive to join our fast-growing team and own full-cycle enterprise sales as an individual contributor. This is a hands-on IC role—you’ll prospect, run deals, and close revenue from day one.
This role is built for an entrepreneurial, high-output AE who can sell without a brand behind them, generate their own pipeline, and thrive in a fast-moving environment competing with legacy providers. You’ll work closely with the CEO, product, and customer success teams to refine our go-to-market motion and expand our customer base.
After proving out a repeatable sales motion, there’s a clear path to grow into a leadership role—but that upside is earned through execution, not assumed from the start.
What You’ll Do
Own the full sales cycle from pipeline generation to close, establishing a repeatable, scalable sales process.
Drive aggressive outbound prospecting — cold outreach, warm intros, sales leader networks, events. Pipeline generation is a core part of this role, not an afterthought. You build and maintain your own pipeline daily.
Run a consultative, thought-leadership-driven sales process, mapping customer pain points to Flockjay’s AI-driven enablement platform and educating CROs, sales enablement, and revenue operations leaders on the execution gap.
Build and execute a sales playbook that includes MEDDIC-based qualification, strategic deal execution, and multi-year contract negotiation.
Maintain rigorous pipeline and process hygiene — track leading indicators (meetings booked, pipeline created, stage progression) weekly, maintain 3x coverage, forecast accurately, and manage a large book of business without letting deals fall through the cracks.
Help run revenue standups, providing funnel analysis, weekly leading indicator goals, forecasting, deal reviews, and insight into pipeline health.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success to align product roadmap and sales execution.
Refine pricing and packaging, working closely with the GTM team to drive multi-year, high-value deals.
What We’re Looking For
Proven IC Sales Execution – You’ve closed six-figure+ enterprise deals at a B2B SaaS company and know how to run outbound sales motions from scratch.
Pipeline Generation as a Core Competency – You thrive in an outbound-heavy role. You don’t wait for inbound—you build pipeline daily using cold prospecting, networked outbound, ABM, and creative outreach. You obsess over leading indicators and activity metrics.
Ability to Sell Without a Big Brand – You’re comfortable in early-stage environments where sales require creativity, thought leadership, and strong relationships.
Strategic Sales Execution – You know how to run a complex sales cycle with multiple stakeholders, ideally using MEDDIC or a similar framework.
Sales Enablement / RevOps Exposure – You’ve sold to CROs, revenue leaders, sales enablement, or sales ops, and understand how sales teams adopt and operationalize enablement tools.
Process Discipline & Large Book Management – You manage a high-volume pipeline with rigorous hygiene—accurate forecasting, clean CRM, weekly leading indicator tracking, and nothing slipping through the cracks.
Technical Fluency & AI-Native Mindset – You’re fluent in Salesforce and modern sales tools. You actively use AI to accelerate your workflow—you’re a builder, not just a user.
Strong Business Acumen – You understand the financial drivers of sales teams and can position enablement as a revenue-generating investment.
Growth Mindset – You want to earn a leadership role through results. You’re hungry to prove yourself and grow with the company.
